GlobalHeads is a new monthly World Music night bringing music from around the globe to Caernarfon’s Market Hall. Exciting headline acts are supported by GlobalHeads’ residents DJs.

Hot on the heels of February’s spectacular launch night with Andy Kershaw, our March event brings another first – with the world famous DJ and musician YOUTH coming to Caenarfon for his first ever North Wales show!

A former native of Anglesey, Youth has become one of the most celebrated and versatile producers of our time with a CV which includes a hand in some of the best loved music of the last 40 years.

He is renowned for being the heartbeat of post-punk band Killing Joke, writing “Little Fluffy Clouds” with The Orb, contributing in the studio to albums by Kate Bush and Pink Floyd.  He produced The Verve’s “Bittersweet Symphony” along with many other classic songs including by Crowded House, U2 and Toots and the Maytals. He has also released three albums as The Fireman, a collaboration with Paul McCartney creating the most experimental music Paul has produced since The Beatles.

Inspired by Punk, Reggae, Funk, dance tunes and Global Beats, Youth has forged his own path creating dance music which is innovative and inspiring, and this month he’s bringing it to Caernarfon.
