20 Year Birthday Party BANDA BACANA + special guests Ram Ram, DJ Fflyffilyfbybl

The band said, “Banda Bacana has been going for 20 years and we think it’s a good excuse to celebrate. Since our inception in the early 2000s we have been gigging around north Wales and further field; weddings, parties, festivals, pubs you name it. One of our first gigs was organised by Byd Mawr a world music collective that over the years brought many amazing musicians and bands to the north Wales area. As one of the original founders of Byd Mawr we are over the moon that DJ Dewi Fflyffilyfbybl has agreed to join us at our birthday celebration. Dewi and Byd Mawr now run Globalheads a monthly global beats club night that host internationally recognised performers at the Neuadd y Farchnad in Caernarfon, so be prepared for some dance floor killers.

We are also very excited to be sharing a bill with Ram Ram, a reggae and ska band from Bethesda. They are a fantastic live band, mashing it up with 3 vocalists, horn section and a sterling ska/reggae backline. They’ve been a highlight of the north Wales music scene for the past few years and are all super talented and full of energy. So if you haven’t seen them yet don’t miss this opportunity!
